Research interest
Acoustic and visual communication in birds, coding and transmission of the information in a bird song, nestling – parent communication.
Species: Acrocephalus sp., Parus sp., Emberisa sp., Dendrocopus sp.

Current projects
Strategies of begging in nests under different risk of predation (supported by the grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education no. D060/POL/2007.

Quality matters – do female prefer males of better syllable performance?
