White Stork - an integrative study on population dynamics

On going project: White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) is a species good known to general public, and in Central European countries is a popular "sign of the spring". Moreover, exists good, sometimes also old data on arrival time of the White Storks to breeding ground over Europe. Therefore, we suggest how to use general public to collect high quality phenological data, and based on their data combine with data on population size and ecological parameters we modelled white stork population variability over space and time.
